About Me

Shaithal Moodley is a registered Clinical Psychologist with over 17 years of experience in the psychological and mental health field. She provides a warm, compassionate, and collaborative environment supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating emotional difficulties, trauma, health-related challenges, and major life transitions.

My Approach

I offer a warm, thoughtful and collaborative space where individuals, couples and families can explore the experiences, relationships and challenges that shape their lives.

My practice integrates systems therapy with interventions such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed and mindfulness-based therapies, thoughtfully tailored to each client and their unique needs.

With a particular interest in medical and health psychology, emotional wellbeing, relationships, trauma and life transitions, I look beyond the presenting concern to understand the whole person and the context in which they live.

My cultural background has also shaped a deep appreciation for the role of family, connection, values and belonging in our psychological wellbeing.

Therapy is a space to feel understood, gain perspective and develop the insight and skills to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
